Whether you and your dog like to exercise, socialize or just enjoy the fresh air, you can do so without concern at Paws Town Dog Park. Since Paws Town first opened it has been Boardman Park’s goal to provide a fun, social and safe environment where dogs, both big and small, are able to play off leash.
Being a members-only dog park enables us to accomplish this. Members of Paws Town have told us they have peace of mind knowing that all dogs in the dog park are vaccinated and registered with the county. Also, the double gate entry system allows you to unleash your dog after entering but before interacting with other dogs, our lawn is well maintained, and our caretakers patrol the area several times a day and are just a phone call away.
One-year memberships to Paws Town are available for 2022-2023. Memberships will be valid from date of purchase through March 31, 2023.
Memberships for Boardman Residents are $40.00 for one dog and $10.00 for each additional dog. Non-Boardman Resident fees are $65.00 for one dog and $10.00 for each additional dog.
Membership packets may be picked up at the Boardman Park Office-Monday-Friday from 8am-4pm, or you can register online.
Welcome to Marge Hartman’s Paws Town Dog Park!

About the Dog Park
Paws Town was built by a non-profit organization, Friends of Paws Town, starting with money donated by Marge Hartman and using funds earned from fund raising events. No tax dollars were used. However, Boardman Park will incur the cost of operating and maintaining Paws Town.
Boardman Park Caretakers monitor the Dog Park on a random basis and can address questions or concerns you may have.
This Off Leash Dog Park is a great place to exercise and socialize your dog(s). We want your experience in the Park to be pleasant, enjoyable and safe.
All dogs must be leashed outside the Dog Park.
Remember to wear your current Membership lanyard/pass while in the facility. Only one membership holder and their dog(s) should be in the transfer area at one time. Please secure gates behind you.
Owners are responsible for keeping their dog’s vaccine status current and for submitting the corresponding records to the Park Office. The following vaccinations are required for membership to the Dog Park (please check with your vet to verify your dog’s status): rabies, distemper, hepatitis, para influenza, parvovirus, bordetella, leptospiriosis, fecal for parasites.
Do not give out the access code to anyone, no matter their reason. Direct anyone who asks you for the code to contact the Park office. The cooperation of all members is imperative to maintaining the integrity of this exclusive-use facility.
