Boardman Park - Reservable Facilities

Boardman Township Park, located 1/4 mile east of the Southern Park Mall on U.S. Route 224, is open from 7:00 AM until dark daily, except with reserved parties, year-round. The office hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday. Reservations for park facilities, which are available for rental year-round with the exception of major holidays, may be made in person or by calling the park office at (330) 726-8105 from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

A few things to remember:

The Park is alcohol free.
Please leave your facility as you found it. Check restrooms too.
If reservation is 5 hours, start your party an hour after you get it. (It takes time to unload and set up)
No more guest permitted than the room capacity.

Some of the park buildings contain more than one room, but ONLY those rooms reserved and paid for will be available for your use. Please call the park office (330) 726-8105 for rental fees.

Indoor meeting rooms include two at the Boardman Community Center and one each at the Georgeanna A. Parker Activity Center, and the Elton Beard Family Cabin ensure that business meetings, wedding receptions, bridal showers, family reunions, class picnics, birthdays, etc. are comfortably accommodated. All are air-conditioned and heated. The left side of the Boardman Community Center has no kitchen. The rest have a kitchen. All have tables and chairs.

All of the park's outdoor facilities are referred to as open air pavilions (as opposed to our meeting rooms, all of which are indoors) and may be rented from April through October. All pavilions are ADA accessible. The hours available for rental are either 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, 5:30 PM to 10:30 PM, or all day, 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM. St. James Meeting House, the Gazebo and the Maag Outdoor Arts Theatre are all facilities then can be reserved for weddings, baptisms, church services, etc. Wedding slots are two hours, and one hour is allowed for rehearsal.
