Summer Day Camp for Kids ages 6-12

Mission Statement: To offer young minds the opportunity to explore their imaginations, discover physical fitness, expand their knowledge of sports and develop a growing sense of adventure through the camp’s diverse activities.

Starting June 20 thru August 19, 2011 Monday-Fridays 9:00am-3:00pm

 Education Based Camp

Each group’s curriculum is designed to be age appropriate, educational, and fun!  Our Goal is to blend summer camp fun and nature education.  We spend most of our time outside with our campers!! Kids stay active by participating in daily scheduled educational programs focusing on...

Arts & Crafts

Daily art lesson and hands-on craft projects.

Team Building

Build relationships and work on problem solving skills.

Creative Arts

Play, act, impersonate and have a ball using your imagination.

Science

Become adventurers and discover nature through hands-on trips into the woods.

Sports

Run, kick, pass- we keep the campers active with lots of games. It’s PE class outside everyday!

Location: Masters Pavilion

Food: Campers supply their own sack lunch,

Boardman Park supplies drink and a snack.

We encourage campers to bring a reusable water bottle on hot days. 

Age requirements: 6 yrs old (completed Kindergarten) thru 12 years-old

Adventure Camp is staffed by trained, qualified and competent college students and experienced adults/teachers many of whom are pursuing/have obtained a degree in Parks and Recreation, Elementary Education, or Physical Education.
